## Rates

These rates are provisional and not yet finally confirmed.

The price of a session is not a single flat hourly rate. It depends on the instructor, the course being taught, the session length, and whether the session is online or in person — an AP course is not always priced like pre-algebra. The exact total is shown before a booking is confirmed, and never changes afterwards.

### Pricing

- Online: from $30 per hour
- In person: from $35 per hour, with a 60-minute minimum
- First consultation: free, 30 minutes, online only
- Session lengths: 60, 90, 120 minutes, charged pro rata
- Payment: Venmo, due by the time the session takes place. The booking is confirmed when made, not when paid

### Booking rules

- Book up to 14 days ahead
- Booking closes 12 hours before a session, so the instructor can prepare
- Sessions run 08:00–20:00 America/New_York
- Always one-on-one; online sessions include a Google Meet link
- A parent or guardian books and is included on every calendar invite

### Cancellation

Reschedule or cancel free any time before the 12-hour cutoff, no reason required. Inside that window there is a $5 late-cancellation fee, because the time was held and can rarely be refilled — **waived for illness and genuine emergencies**.
