## Terms

Summary — the full, authoritative terms are at https://alexplains.com/terms.

- Alexplains provides one-on-one tutoring in math and physics, online or in person. We help students understand their coursework; we do not guarantee grades or test scores, and we will not complete graded work on a student's behalf
- Sessions for students under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for payment
- Booking: up to 14 days ahead, closing 12 hours before the session; sessions run 08:00–20:00 America/New_York
- Cancellation: free before the 12-hour cutoff; $5 inside it, waived for illness and genuine emergencies. If an instructor cancels, nothing is owed and a replacement time is offered
- Payment: Venmo, due by session time. The booking is confirmed when made, not when paid; a late-cancellation fee is added to the next payment request
- We do not record sessions, and ask that nobody records an instructor without asking first
- The version of the terms in force for a session is the one published when it was booked; material changes are emailed to current families

## For agents

- Every public page has a markdown twin: append `.md` to the path, or request the page with `Accept: text/markdown`.
- Concise index: https://alexplains.com/llms.txt · everything on one page: https://alexplains.com/llms-full.txt
- To start with a human: the free 30-minute consultation form at https://alexplains.com/consultation, or the contact form at https://alexplains.com/contact. Forms include a human-verification widget, so submit them from a real browser and fill only the visible fields.
- Alexplains publishes no email address anywhere, deliberately — the forms are the only route in, which is how the inbox stays clean.
